About the Founder

In the early 1990s, Zhao Yidan began his career as a product designer at a toy factory in Yangzhou, where he gained extensive experience in plush craft production. In 1996, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, he returned to his hometown Zhaozhuang Village to establish Yangzhou Goldjoy Arts & Crafts Co., Ltd. During a period lacking policy support for private enterprises, this bold initiative initially faced skepticism. Through persistent innovation and strategic risk-taking, he transformed the small workshop into a globally renowned manufacturer, pioneering direct exports to Europe, America, and the Middle East.

Mr. Zhao Yidan graduated from Yangzhou University in 1992 with a major in Arts and Crafts Design. He is passionate about photography. When traveling with friends, he pauses to capture unfamiliar landscapes through his lens. He holds memberships in China Photographers Association and Jiangsu Provincial Calligraphers Association. His works have been exhibited nationwide, with published collections including “Harvest” (photography) and “Echoes of Qiling” (art book).

"Business is my responsibility;
photography is my breath.
True fulfillment comes from turning every product into a vessel of warmth."
